<< Objectives >>The objectives of our proposed project are to (1) advance early childhood environmental education by increasing the capacities of both educators and children, (2) ensure inclusion by involving primary schools in deprived areas, (3) increase the quality of early education through the use of experiential learning to develop climate literacy and awareness, (4) enable transnational and cross sectoral collaborations for advancing experiential learning on environment in early education.<< Implementation >>(1)Develop training materials and open resources regarding climate literacy and awareness for early education (2)Train primary educators using experiential learning (3)Implement Classroom and Field Labs with 150 primary students (4)Create an online platform that will host virtual dialogue roundtables for cross-border networking and best practice exchange between primary educators and environmentalists (5)Disseminate the project via local events, social media campaigns, and video stories.<< Results >>50 primary school educators will be trained and enhance their capacity to develop climate literacy and awareness among 150 elementary aged students.30 educators and experts from the climate and environments field, will engage in virtual dialogue exchange from both partner countries. Through dissemination we aim to reach at least 50,000 school educators, environmental organizations, policy makers, youth, public services, target groups associations, civil society and EU citizens.
