"Today we cannot talk about high standards for the development of professional skills without continuous training, constantly updated information about theoretical innovations and innovative practice strategies. To meet these challenges, hotel and restaurant staff need to use optimal communication, flexible thinking, the ability to develop and implement innovative and personalized approaches to customer relationships.The biggest problems of hotel / restaurant companies are those related to communication. Problems related to employee communication, especially those related to communication between employees and customers, especially with customers with disabilities or other ethnic groups.The tools developed within the project represent a way to acquire new knowledge and practical skills that will lead to the improvement of specific communication skills for hotel and restaurant staff, generally for people working in the field of HORECA.Following the project implementation, the results obtained led to the benefits of raising awareness of communication optimization, developing inter-relational skills, awareness of mental mechanisms involved in the relationship, knowledge and application of assertive behavior, teamwork, active listening, conflict resolution, cognitive understanding and behavioral relationships with others.The direct beneficiaries have gained new communication skills which leads to the development of skills and performance, acquired through training. They have also developed skills to provide quality services and will be able to better respond to the needs of the organizations they belong to.The activities designed to achieve the results of the project were developed according to an implementation plan. The following results were achieved:Io1. A scientific research, a comparative study. The purpose of the research was to identify the causes of communication dysfunctions in tourism and the needs of workers in this field. A number of 740 questionnaires were applied. We have identified through this research if there is a certain type of behavior that psychologically favors the increase of the comfort of those who use tourist services.The quantitative and qualitative results of the questionnaires were statistically analyzed and diagrams and reports were presented for presentation. The conclusions were also analyzed by each partner and then produced a final result of about 100 pages.IO2 The manual ""Management of tourism communication"" contains a total of 8 chapters, each chapter is written taking into account the research results and the needs identified before the start of the project. The manual is available in four language versions (English, Romanian, Italian, Greek).IO3 Course ""Communication management in tourism"" This result contains a written support in the power point program, made in an interactive way, which can be taken over by workers in the field of HORECA. The design of the course support is friendly and easy to assimilateIO4 An online platform. The platform aims to raise awareness of the use of optimal communication in the field of HORECA, which is precisely the general objective of this project.Using the platform will improve IT skills for both the target group and other indirect beneficiaries and improve skills for developing and promoting online learning. The platform will ensure the continuity and sustainability of the project.The general objective of the project was to raise awareness through the use of optimal communication in the field of HORECA. The following objectives were achieved:- Increasing the degree of communication optimization by HORECA staff, reducing discrimination in communication, changing attitudes towards customer relations, especially with customers with disabilities or other cultures, and bringing it to a level of excellence.- Development of inter-relational skills, awareness of the psychic mechanisms involved in the relationship, knowledge and application of assertive behavior, teamwork, active listening, conflict resolution, cognitive and behavioral understanding of relationships with others.Procedures, methodologies and working tools necessary for the good development of the project activities were developed.Joint training events were organized in Romania, Italy and Cyprus to improve the expertise of the partners. These activities led to: Increasing the competencies and skills of staff members of partner organizations regarding the benefits of optimal communication; Improving knowledge of international know-how on optimal communication; Improving skills for international research and development."
