<< Background >>Project “Photography Kaleidoscope: Inclusion, Communities, and Knowledge” is prepared in accordance with the current affairs. It is intended to foster cognition, creativity, and community inclusion via one of the most easily accessible technologies and art forms - photography. In addition, the project is expected to help create and develop sustainable international relations, educate and improve the skills and competencies of those participating in adult education, which is necessary in order to make creative and innovative decisions, control current challenges and risks, encourage intercultural interaction and creative citizen self-awareness. The Photography field has not been sufficiently explored in order to create a synergy between adult education and culture. Education andragogues and specialists of the cultural field lack skills, knowledge, and resources, as well as international best practices and consultations on how to adapt nowadays easily accessible technology in adult education and exercise it as a useful tool, used to educate: familiarize with the history of the region, cultural heritage, improve creativity, taste for art, foreign language skills, share information, get involved in community activities, spend leisure time more purposefully.Project goals:-To strengthen the competencies of andragogues and other adult education field personnel, working in the field of culture and creativity, by using international experience.-To use educational and artistic values of photography in order to motivate adults to become involved in the learning process, acquire new skills and competencies, cultivate creativity and share their experiences.The goals of the project are directly related to the needs and interests of the below target groups:1. Adult learners that do not possess basic abilities, have low qualifications, or learners at adult education school/centre.2. Adult educators, andragogues, and personnel that engage in consulting, training, educating based on creativity, photography actualization, and work related cultural activities of adult groups.3. Official and associated partners.Different society groups will be involved in the creation of project products, presentation, testing, and dissemination process: adult educators from partners and associated partners’ organizations; representatives of public libraries, museums, NGO sector educational and cultural organizations; adult learners; members of local communities; politicians; media representatives; formal and non-formal adult education professionals, and others who are interested in adult education through creativity, culture, and arts.<< Objectives >>Adult education is a vital element in EU lifelong learning policy. The improvement of adult skills and competencies make a great contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through culture and education quality, and strategy “Europe 2020”. Cultural institutions and NGO organizations entities included in planning, organising, or promoting education and training. Diversity in the adult education field which includes education and training providers, community services, and adult learners themselves are among the key stakeholders in the concerted effort needed to reach, engage, guide, and support individuals as they progress on their upskilling pathways.The main project objectives:1. To strengthen the competencies of andragogues and other adult education field personnel, working in the field of culture and creativity, while using international experience, make the learning process easy, acquire new adult’s skills and competencies, cultivate creativity and share their experiences;2. To use educational and artistic values of photography in order to motivate adults to become involved in the learning process, acquire new skills and competencies, cultivate creativity and share their experiences.Project results will be publicly accessible, specialized for working with adults, that is, for socio-cultural inclusion motivation, educators and learners’ skills and competencies development and improvement, related to learning, broadening the worldview, motivating creativity, developing artistic style and innovative view on current challenges.Project results will be publicly accessible, specialized for working with adults, that is, for social-cultural inclusion motivation, educators and learners’ skills and competencies development and improvement, related to learning, broadening worldview, motivating creativity, developing art style and innovative view on current challenges.<< Implementation >>It is planned to create 2 intellectual products adapted for non-formal adult education: 1) Guidelines for creating educational exhibitions; 2) Programme of international (joint partners content) educational artistic photography exhibition. In order to achieve the project objectives and deliver the planned quantitative and qualitative results, it is planned to organize: 3 partner meetings, 2 training events during the creation of guidelines for creating educational exhibitions, two testings of guidelines with associated partners, programme of international educational artistic photography exhibitions testing/presentation in partner countries (overall 5), 2 products dissemination events, 6 project dissemination events, also constant contact among project coordinator, partners, and associated partners via ZOOM software, emails, phone, using Google Docs. Project quantitative and qualitative results will be assessed by target groups filling special surveys after each dedicated activity. The project coordinator together with the team will analyze survey answers, discuss with partners and make conclusions. According to research findings, during the fulfillment of the project, the products and activities of the products will be improved.A special communication campaign will be created by all participating organizations. This campaign will be implemented by each participating organization. The special project logo and style of communication will be created. It is planned to make a short visual presentation about the project (in all partners' languages and English). As well as a special contest for the public will be organized in each country. This contest will help to promote the project and attract more participants to the project activities and consumptions of outputs which will be done after completion of the project. As well as all partners will represent this project on regional, national and transnational levels by participating in various events, training events, and conferences. Project implementation and management grant will be used to organize two result testing events in Lithuania and Spain with associated partners-participants from non-formal adult learning institutions; and five result testings in all partner countries. During these events the project will be presented, results tested, different kinds of activities, workshops, and internal training will be done.<< Results >>The project will have two production results: 1. Guidelines for Creating Educational Exhibitions will be created. The Guidelines will be used for community involvement, encourage cognition and creativity, and improve skills and competencies. Organizations that participate in the project (library, museums, NGOs) work are related with different cultural and art and other exhibitions‘ preparation and their presentation for the community. By using these guidelines, andragogues and specialists working in the adult education field will receive useful information about special innovative and engaging activities for adults. These guidelines will gain new competencies for adult education specialists using creativity, will help to adapt to current challenges and risks, allowing them to work properly with the target groups. The Guidelines material will be presented in 2 parts: the first part will be a theoretical material about the presentation of demand for cultural and art products in a creative, innovative, and interactive way. The second part presents the best practices of participating organizations, related to educational and interactive presentations of art exhibitions). It will help to be involved and engaged and to use innovative methods of andragogues teaching. 2. Programme of Educational Art Photography Exhibition. The Programme will ensure effective participation of adults in lifelong learning by using cultural experiences, it will lead them to dialogue with photography, art, give a possibility not only to participate interactively but also to get knowledge. Photography is chosen as a field that has artistic and documentary value, it uses modern technology, which is easily accessible, engaging, fostering cognition, creativity, helping to adapt to current challenges. There will be 2 parts of the Programme: 1. art photography‘s visual content, the 2-nd – interactive exhibition‘s presentation made for education. Each project’s partner will select national art photographs with educational content. They will be prepared for the educational exhibition in digitized form. Partner countries will display this exhibition in their institutions according to their activity specifications and opportunities (preferably – physically). Communities and representatives from target groups are actively involved in its interactive presentations (overall 5 presentations of the exhibition).The project production results will be sustainable, continuous, and will be disseminated widely without any restrictions.All quantitative results which will be achieved: The Guidelines - 1; short-term training activities - 2; participants in each short term training activity - 16; testing of guidelines in partner countries with AP - 2; participants in each guidelines testing with AP- 15; international educational artistic photography exhibition programme - 1; testing of photography exhibition programme - 5; community members involved in all art photography exhibition programme presentations - 400; participants with fewer opportunities involved in all project activities 200; transnational project meetings - 3; participants in each transnational meeting - 20; implemented communication campaign - 1; multiplier events - 2; participants in all multiplier events - 90 local, 10 foreign, 100 virtual participants; usage of created outputs will provide communities with an ability to raise their knowledge and learning skills regardless of their social and/or economic status (expecting 10 000 online viewers).All qualitative results: communities satisfaction to participate in cultural education activities research, based on survey analyses of participants of training activities – 80; new skills and competencies for adult education specialists, andragogues in the field of culture, creativity and art; products will be flexible and easily adaptable to the needs of specialists from other countries (80% of participants upgraded skills).
