<< Objectives >>The Sustainable NGOs project aims to raise awareness of climate change and environmental challenges in line with European and global strategic documents in the youth sector, empower the youth sector for the green transition and to start working in a more sustainable way, improve the green competences of young people, youth workers and leaders and help them change their habits and behaviors, so that they will become actors of change both inside and outside the youth organization.<< Implementation >>The project will carry out several activities for the development of quality tools and their promotion: virtual and physical meetings of project partners, systematic analysis of existing literature and tools, focus groups with end users of our tools, mentoring meetings with representatives of organizations, international seminar for youth workers and leaders, testing, evaluation and upgrading of tools, several regional seminars and one international conference to promote project results.<< Results >>The three main results of the project, intended to empower organizations and individuals, will be:- online training modules for the development or upgrading of green competences, focusing on the needs of individuals for knowledge of the environment, the ecological footprint, climate change and a greener lifestyle,- a tool for measuring the degree of environmental sustainability of organizations,- guidelines and recommendations for sustainability of organizations.
