Action Oriented Further Education at the Workplace

Description

"Action-oriented Further Training at the WorkplaceCONTEXTThe still increasing demand of companies for a continuous and dynamic competence development requires offers which are company-specific, flexible in time and scope and close to the real work situation. Important approaches for this are:1) Action-oriented learning with the principle of ""complete action"", which includes planning, preparation, implementation, result checking and evaluation as well as process reflection.2. agile approaches in further education (""agile learning"") for dynamic environments with the processing of real practical tasks in short learning stages with feedback loops, reflection and correction possibilities as well as learning guidance by didactically and technically trained coaches.Job-integrated further training offers require so far a longer preliminary run and from the enterprises often internal efforts. However, companies want training measures that can start without a long lead time and are aimed at clear results. Action-oriented further training must therefore be designed in such a way that it retains its pedagogical, subject-related and process-optimising advantages and at the same time provides direct operational benefits from the very beginning. GOALS / EXPECTED RESULTS- Development of a practice-oriented combination of the approaches ""action-oriented learning"" and ""agile learning"" for continuing vocational education and training - Workplace-integrated learning in the company, involving the trainers / instructors / instructors / superiors- Orientation towards direct applicability in companies by creating immediate benefits - without lengthy lead times. - Supplementation by a strategy that allows ""expansion while the vehicle is in motion"" and takes into account developments in the organisation as well as the qualification of in-company training staff.- An externally recognisable valorisation, e.g. through recognised certificates. All in all: the creation of a procedural standard to which training providers can orient themselves. TARGET GROUP- Further training coordinators in companies who apply the didactic concept in their work - Small and medium-sized enterprises, companies with little training experience, start-ups that apply the didactic concept in their work in the company. - Continuing education institutions that pass on the didactic concept to companies in a sustainable manner ACTIVITIESStage 1: Preparation of a practical report ""Action-oriented and agile learning in continuing vocational training"" and of case studies on “action-oriented and agile learning in enterprises"".Stage two: Preparation of a method book for the didactic and pedagogical implementation of action-oriented/agile learning at the workplace, a framework curriculum for continuing education coordinators and a guide for companies, which clearly explains the basics, potentials and requirements of the approach.Stage 3Development of a course design for an exemplary pilot course for trainers in the technical focus ""Renewable Energy: Environment and Buildings"", processing and dissemination in a learning activitySummary in a handbook "" Action-oriented/agile learning in continuing vocational training "", with which companies can work independently or purchase continuing vocational training in a targeted manner and which enables continuing vocational training providers to internationalise their offerings at the highest methodological level.A total of 7 transnational project meetings will be held in parallel. The dissemination is mainly aimed at: (1) Training companies: Developers of concepts and lecturers(2) Company: Training coordinators, management and personnel departments, in SMEs also direct owners/managers and trainers (3) Universities: academic staff of the relevant departments, institutes for continuing training (4) the level of quasi-state, state and EU-wide promotion and development of education. Longer-term benefits:The aim is that, in the longer term, different offers will be made by different training providers for workplace-integrated further training, which will enable participants to develop competences appropriate to their specific needs."
