<< Objectives >>The project FinDigWomEd is a collaboration between two organisations aiming to create together a training programme for adult women in digital literacy and financial education. By doing so, they would contribute to fighting the gender gap in both of these areas. These skills are related to each other and together can lead to greater economic independence and employability, as well as development of entrepreneurial mindset.<< Implementation >>The main activity of the project will be organisation of trainings in the area of digital education and financial education for educators working with adult women. After completing the trainings, the educators will prepare a series of local workshops for women, combing the knowledge acquired during both trainings.<< Results >>The project will allow the partners to acquire knowledge about good practices in teaching of financial and digital educations that they will be able to implement in their services, especially by inclusion of a training format combining both areas that they will create. The project is also expected to increase of the level of financial and digital knowledge of the women participating in the local workshop and to raise awareness about the importance of these two areas of knowledge.
