ITTA- International Technology Transfer Academy was a long term project aiming to define the vocational qualification standards for Technology Transfer Specialist and design, test, evaluate a multidimensional training program to develop a competence based vocational training curricula, in cooperation with partnering organizations from Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, slovenia and Turkey and Objectives: - to identify the actual needs of the technology transfer sector and existing or potential staff at the sector, - to bring together and share diverse experience and approaches on technology transfer and on the training of the staff within the sector, - to design a multi-dimensional, competent based vocational training curriculum for potential TTO staff aiming to develop knowledge, skills, values and practical approach. - to develop content and learner based methodology for a distant learning module and face to face training programmes, - to implement, test and monitor the developed curriculum and the modules through 150 participants (20 pax selected by each partner organisation) at national level and 30 of them at international level. - to evaluate and analyze the efficiency of the training modules and improve them according to the evaluation results, - to compile and publicize the training content and modules and promote the curriculum all through the Europe, - to support participants to be employed at the partnering/other organizations, further monitor and support their development Target group of the project was mainly the young people from 18-35 years of age having potential and willingness to take an active role in Technology Transfer and R&D sector, who are mostly new graduates, students expected to be graduated within the first 2 years of the project and current TTO staff. The project was mainly focusing on how to develop competences of TT officers in line with the changes and developments in the sector and bring out materials to be used for training of TTO staff. In this respect there has been 25 national training activities, 5 international training courses, national and international level distant learning activities has been organized in accordance with the need assessment executed at the very beginning of the project. Various materials and documents has been produced to be used for similar capacity building programs for TTOs including online training modules, training modules, training curricula, video trainings etc.
