The demand for more sustainable production is growing due to ecological and social crises and stricter regulations. Companies like ASML and Philips are already asking for sustainability from their suppliers. SMEs, often suppliers, want to become more sustainable but lack information and dont know where to start. This project helps Alligator Plastics (plastic manufacturer) become more sustainable step by step, starting with a materiality scan (identifying where the company can make an impact) and a CO2 footprint. Fontys IE&M, and Bee-Sustainable support them with a structured approach, from sustainability knowledge to measuring inside and outside the organization to continuous improvement.
