Advancing Research Data Interoperability in the Social Sciences and Humanities

This project aims to enhance the digital readiness and data interoperability practices among Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) researchers in the Netherlands to advance open science principles. The project will fund an Ontology & Metadata Coordinator and Interoperability Specialists to lead collaborative "Interoperability Missions" addressing knowledge gaps and promoting best practices. Working together with local university research data support staff, these missions will foster cross-domain collaboration, supported by national and international networks to improve research practices. Key outcomes include improved digital and data readiness, strengthened collaboration and enhanced capacity for open science practices in the SSH domain.
