The proposed research focuses on the construction of quantum spheres. Spheres are highly symmetrical mathematical forms believed to encode perfection. Gluing them together in a suitable way one can construct new spaces which possess interesting mathematical features. This project analyses quantum analogues of such constructions, with the goal of making the tools of algebraic topology available for quantum theory.
