AHRC and the Design Council share the common objective of furthering design opportunities and activities within the UK. Together AHRC and the Design Council will: 1. Work in partnership 2. Maximise UKRI investment in research and innovation into commercial propositions designed with and for people; 3. Take a design-led approach to the Grand Challenge missions, convening multi-sectors to innovate towards a common goal; 4. Harness and convene the UK design community, part of the creative industries and other areas of the UK workforce; and 5. Demonstrate the UK's global leadership in design and innovation, convening design leaders across the world.
